We use the very best thread from Champion Threads in Gastonia, NC to keep our tarps protecting you through the heaviest of winds and rain. Polyester thread is the most versatile choice for industrial sewing. It has the strength of nylon plus UV and mildew resistance.

Water, Mold, and Mildew Resistant

Only the top shelf in water, mold and mildew protection from Buckeye Fabric Finishing in Coshocton, OH is used on our Heavy Duty Canvas tarps. This protective coating has a unique military smell that takes you back in time. This smell dissipates quickly outdoors, but the protection lives on!

100% Cotton Canvas

Not only are our canvas tarps Heavy Duty, they are also made from 100% Cotton. Talk about a natural and sustainable product!

Just like our clothes, these tarps are susceptible to shrinkage in certain climates.

Industrial Grade D-Rings

Industrial strength d-rings are used for the very best in strapping and securing. This special feature will hold up extremely well in high winds and driving rain. Each d-ring is sewn into a three layer patch and further secured with high strength webbing.

Made On-Site, NOT Imported

Every Heavy Duty Canvas tarp we supply is made right here in the USA at our own factory, we aren’t a drop-shipper and we don’t import our canvas tarps. When you buy a Tarp Nation heavy duty canvas tarp you are buying factory direct, no middle man.

Things to know about your new tarp

The Cut Size of a tarp is the size of the material when it is being cut. After all of the hems and seems are made the overall tarp size will be smaller, typically 3-5%.

The Finish Size of a tarp is the actual size after all hems and seems are made.

Although very strong, we do not recommend this tarp for highway travel. See our Heavy Duty Vinyl.
Your canvas tarp can be re-treated with Canvak for years of service and durability.
This canvas tarp is not fire resistant and will burn if brought into contact with flames.

Industrial D-Rings

Every d-ring is spaced at 3′ intervals and reinforced with a four layer canvas patch that provides an excellent base and extra strength.

Breathable

One of the greatest features of a canvas tarps is that it doesn’t trap moisture and heat. The breathable quality of a canvas tarp is extremely helpful in protecting your valuables from moisture.

Hems & Seems

All hems are double lock stitched for a superior hold. Every panel seem is double chain stitched.
